Tripling Production Output at Cla-Val

Cla-Val, known as the leading manufacturer of automatic control valves and other products designed for mission-critical water distribution solutions, dealt with constant labeling problems, causing several thousands of dollars to be lost in the process. Our friends at BarTender have written up a case study on our solution made for Cla-Val to allow them to print accurately and efficiently.

IPSi enabled Cla-Val to centralize mission-critical label printing originating from their core business systems:  Infor Syteline (ERP), Infor Warehouse Mobility (ERP add-on), and Nutech Systems/Viewpoint (ERP add-on to extend to mobile computers).  Ian Faust from our team worked alongside Cla-Val to help replace file drops with a secure HTTPS printing infrastructure, upgrade all label templates, implement the REST API integration to push dynamic data, and standardize and reconfigure over 50 printers across the facility streamlining the entire labeling operation.
